Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on BMCoding ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") and using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

BMCoding is a remote diagnostics and coding platform for automotive multimedia head units. It allows authorised technicians to perform diagnostic reads, feature coding, software management, and related operations on supported vehicles via a secure remote session.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Automotive ECU diagnostics and coding are inherently risky operations. An incorrect write, an interrupted flash, or an operation applied to the wrong configuration can leave a unit in an unrecoverable state. Before executing any operation, make sure you understand exactly what it does. If you are unsure - do not proceed.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BMCoding and its operator(s) accept zero responsibility and expressly disclaim all liability for:

  • Any damage to vehicle electronics, software, or hardware resulting from use of the Platform, including ECU failure, data loss, or unintended behaviour following coding or diagnostic operations;
  • Loss of vehicle functionality, drivability, or safety systems;
  • Any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the Platform;
  • Errors, interruptions, or inaccuracies in diagnostic data returned by the vehicle;
  • Actions taken by users based on information provided by the Platform.

You use the Platform entirely at your own risk. BMCoding provides the interface - the responsibility for every operation performed through it lies solely with the technician who initiates it.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You must be a qualified automotive technician or act under the supervision of one.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that operations performed via the Platform are legal and authorised in your jurisdiction.
  • You must not use the Platform to tamper with emissions-related systems in a manner prohibited by law.
  • Your account credentials are your responsibility. You must not share them with third parties.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Platform's security mechanisms.

5. Diagnostic Data Collection

During a diagnostic session, the Platform collects and retains certain data read from the connected ECU. This may include vehicle identification numbers (VIN), ECU serial numbers, software version lists, configuration files, and other data returned by the vehicle during the session.

This data is stored on our servers and used solely for the purposes of platform development, debugging, and improving compatibility with supported devices. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose unrelated to the operation and improvement of the Platform.

By using the Platform you consent to this data being collected and retained as described above. For information on how we handle your account and personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Payments, Payment Methods and Delivery

Access to specific features is sold as per-vehicle, per-feature digital licenses. Each license is delivered electronically and becomes usable in your account immediately after successful payment - there is no physical shipment and no delivery delay.

Payment is processed by WayForPay, a licensed payment service provider. At checkout you may pay by:

  • Visa and Mastercard bank cards (domestic and international);
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay;
  • any other payment method WayForPay makes available at checkout.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law - see our Refund Policy for details. Chargebacks initiated fraudulently may result in immediate account termination.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Platform. Active licenses are non-refundable in the event of termination due to policy violations.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ukraine, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

10. Contact
